Is it only Wednesday? Oh no.
I worked from home and will play that same game tomorrow.
Working from home is comfortably difficult. I’m a fan of anything that includes wearing sweats while indulging in kitty snuggles.
But then there’s that damn ringing phone and computer. 😂 Document here, document there, document a little everywhere. I’m Dr. Seus!
I like my job. It’s challenging, but challenges = growth, so I shouldn’t complain about that. The people are great.
I do miss Baylor’s midnight cafeteria snack times. But what can you do? Well, I know what I can do: Lose weight!
Down 10 pounds, babyloves. Only 647 more to go. (Joke.)
I was prescribed Wellbutrin and naltrexone to curb my appetite and combat the weight I gained on Abilify. I’m not 600 pounds, but I’ve been more used to being a slip of a thing in my lifetime and I want that back. I asked, and the doctor giveth. I was somewhat surprised.
Well, it has worked. I don’t get that hungry anymore. My metabolism might be better too? Who the hell knows. There may or may not be a way to measure that. Hashtag “ignorance.”
So I can complain a little bit. Who can’t? But I couldn’t and shouldn’t complain that much.
Bye, internet!
Hi Caitlin :) I have been working from home too! I like it, I am eating less. I did not lose but 5lbs because of not exercising. I am only taking Synthroid and my hypothyroidism slows down my metabolism, very hard to not gain weight (older and all). I tried taking cholesterol medicine and could not walk good for a month, stopped that. I was going to take the mood altering Abilify 5mg, but too altering for me. My job is challenging too, Pharmacy Benefit Manager for CVS. Same kind of work in a sense, like you. I get calls coming in all day. I am calling the Doctor offices and pharmacies for prior authorizations and "Letters of Medical Necessity"…
